Richter, a leader in PFA lined pump and valve solutions, has introduced a new size control ball for its KNR and KNAR control valve series.
Increasing production quantities require a larger diameter of pipeline, which means bigger valves are also needed. In today’s plants, everything is optimised for maximum possible capacity and best economic results. Richter anticipated these changing requirements with the launch of its largest PFA-lined control ball for the KNR/F DN200 and the KNAR/F 205 mm valves. The optimisation of flow behaviour supported by CFD (computational fluid dynamics) ensures maximum stable flow with minimum pressure losses. The geometric shape ensures low turbulence through the flow range and control characteristics with true equal percentage curves at flow rates up to a KV of 1000 m³/h (CV = 1156 gpm). Other features include:
• Universal chemical resistant PFA lining.
• Permeation and vacuum resistant construction.
• Higher efficiency due to better control behaviour especially in the lower range.
• Lower operating costs through increased capacity.
