Relief from cable management problems

Murrelektronik produces a range of cable fixing plates under the product code 'ZL'. The plates, which resemble a comb, can be mounted onto DIN rail or screwed down using two bolts. Cables are then strapped to this using standard cable ties.
The plates can be used in a number of different ways such as:
* To provide strain relief for cables in drag chain.
* As cost-effective cable management without ducting.
* Fixing cable harnesses in machine.
* Fixing cable runs in buildings or vehicles.
* To secure cables preventing them being pulled out of terminals.
The comb is double-sided allowing two cable ties to be attached per cable, thus providing the maximum grip. The plates can effectively be used on any cable diameter up to approximately 32 mm.
The plates have been designed to fit into the plastic drag chain in the Murrelektronik range. The company also offers a version with an in-built steel plate and earth lead so that sheathed cables can be earthed. This is in compliance with recent EMC guidelines. A range of cable ties in varying widths and strengths complements the ZL range.
