The Optiflex 2200 is a modular 2-wire TDR level meter with a housing and probe design suitable for a variety of mounting positions and applications. It can be used for liquids, pastes, slurries, powders and granulates. Even when the product surface is agitated or covered with a layer of foam, the meter performs accurately and reliably. These factors make it ideal for all industries, including energy, oil and gas, chemicals and petrochemicals, mining, water and wastewater, pulp and paper, as well as food and pharmaceuticals.
It is designed and developed according to IEC 61508 for safety-related systems (SIL2).
Flexibility in the field
With a measuring range of up to 40 m, the Optiflex 2200 is ideal for storage and process tank applications. Its quick coupling system permits removal of the converter under process conditions and rotation through 3600 to make the display screen easy to read. Users can specify the way the display is fixed to the device thanks to its innovative housing design, which makes it accessible regardless of whether it is installed on a tank, in a recess or in buildings with low roofs.
The remote version features a separate signal converter with display. It allows installation and operation up to 100 m away from the probe e.g. at the bottom of the tank or in a control room.
For easy upgrade of existing installations, the Optiflex 2200 is compatible with previous generation meters such as the BM100 and BM102. Users simply need to install the converter on the existing flange and probe assembly.
