Power quality option included in new calibrator

Spescom MeasureGraph is offering the Fluke 5520A-PQ, a power quality option for the popular Fluke 5520A multiproduct calibrator to calibrate power quality instrumentation to the exacting standards of the IEC and other regulatory agencies.

The 5520A-PQ option enables users of the Fluke 5520A calibrator to calibrate power quality instrumentation to meet the stringent standards of the IEC and other regulatory agencies. Three precision waveform modes displayed by the PQ option are: composite harmonic, flicker simulation, and sags and swells simulation.

These waveforms provide traceability for power meters, disturbance analysers, power quality monitors, flicker meters, recorders and other power quality-related equipment. They are available in either the single output mode (voltage or current) or dual output modes (voltage + current and voltage + voltage) of the 5520A.

The PQ option enhances the instrument's already significant workload coverage, flexibility and ease-of-use. This rugged, portable instrument is well suited for use in both the field and the calibration laboratory. It is also allows the user to match each configuration to the assigned workload, adding new options as work assignments progress.
