APC by Schneider Electric has introduced the Galaxy 5500 three-phase uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system, an integrated and energy efficient solution with increased efficiency and low audible noise. The 5500 is the newest in a line of trusted three-phase power solutions provided by Schneider Electric and includes the UPS, network communication and start-up in a smaller footprint with an integrated transformer in cabinet.
Other features include:
* Flexible design available in a wide range of configurations to suit any operating environment.
* Front-access servicing simplifies installation and maintenance while minimising space requirements.
* Advanced electrical features include excellent power conditioning, very low harmonic distortion through IGBT rectifier, input power factor correction and increased efficiency.
* ECO mode bypasses unused electrical components in good power conditions to achieve high operating efficiency without sacrificing protection.
* Shorter lead time to the customer enables quicker turnaround time for the customer.
* Smaller footprint with transformer integrated to the UPS provides galvanic isolation in input, bypass or output as needed.
* Wide input voltage range is designed for harsh electrical environments to save battery life.
The Galaxy 5500 joins the complete line of APC by Schneider Electric’s three-phase UPS power solutions available for data centres and facilities of any size.
