PSV Mitech exports to South America

PSV Mitech has recently exported a 300 mm globe control valve specifically designed for a South American sugar producer to reduce steam pressure between the boiler and the filtration and refining process.
The CF8M stainless steel valve features an ED disk stack trim and a CW500FC/E sprung piston actuator. The stack trim provides effective energy dissipation and pressure reduction, which ensures a long service life and accurate control. By using an unbalanced trim with a large piston actuator a long lasting tight shut-off at high service temperatures is ensured.
The entire PSV Mitech range utilise the clamp in place, free float design so the valve can quickly be configured to the user’s specific process needs. The free float of the seat and plug during assembly means that stem, plug and seat alignment is easily achieved. When compared to alternative designs, the free float design provides the user with longer stem seal life and better valve shut-off performance. The simplicity of build also means that maintenance is quick and easy, with no special tools required to achieve the design performance of the valve.
