Double-deck terminal block
April 2013
Electrical Power & Protection
Wago’s new TOPJOB S 2002 series double-deck terminal block has the option of combining the functions of the top and lower levels. The top level, for example, can be used as a disconnect and fuse terminal block, while the lower level can act as a through or ground conductor terminal block. This flexibility makes the new terminal block ideal for common control cabinet configuration or for process metrology.
They are 5,2 mm wide and are designed for 24 A with a 16 A disconnect function, for 400 V based on IEC and for 300 V based on UL. The disconnect terminal block version is equipped with a disconnect link in the top level, while the version with the same profile, designed as a fuse terminal block, has a pivoting fuse holder for 5 x 20 mm fuses. Other versions include the double-deck through terminal block and the four-conductor double-deck terminal block with internal commoning. Since they have the same profile, the double-deck terminal blocks can be commoned horizontally with other TOPJOB S rail-mounted terminal blocks: the lower potential level with triple-deck terminal blocks and the top potential level with double-deck terminal blocks.
Covering a range of wire sizes from 0,14 to 95 mm² (AWG 24-4/0), the TOPJOB S, along with the POWER CAGE CLAMP, offers a wide range of options for industrial, building and traffic applications. The blocks are the most compact in the industry and are suitable for solid, stranded and fine-stranded conductors. Conductors with ferrules can also be connected simply. The rail-mount terminal block system has a fast, economical marking system as well as a comprehensive jumper system for any application.
