Jumo’s new electromechanical temperature controller enables efficient control of thermal processes without the use of auxiliary power. The device operates according to the fluid expansion principle whereby the filling liquid in the measuring system expands when warmed, actuating a microswitch via a transmission mechanism.
Now available from ASSTech, this controller is compact in design, with external dimensions of 35,5 x 29 x 27 mm without the spindle. This means that the panel-mount thermostat can be used in areas that have limited space. The connection terminals on the rear offer yet another benefit as they allow quick and easy establishment of electrical contact after thermostat installation.
Due to the standard stainless steel design of the capillary, the thermostat is ideal for use in a wide range of industries and applications, including heating and cooling and plastics manufacture. A controller with a temperature measuring range of 20 to 90°C, a capillary length of 2 metres and a probe diameter of 6 mm are supplied as standard stock.
The controller forms part of Jumo’s existing EM and heatTherm ranges of panel mount thermostats. With these products, Jumo offers a full range of devices from high quality individual piece production and large-scale production through to cost-effective temperature controllers in basic versions.
