Systematic Designs, a value added-reseller specialising in realtime solutions, has announced the release of its latest precision motion controllers from Tew DatanTechnik of Germany. The TPMC118 is a standard single-width 32 bit PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC) 6 channel motion controller module. It is designed for precision motion control applications offering six independent channels. Each channel consists of a TTL/RS422 compatible encoder interface, one digital 24V input and one ±10 V analog output.
The TPMC118 used together with a 3U or 6U CPCI single board computer is capable of performing highly computer-intensive tasks.
"By adding I/O modules to the CPCI single board computer to suit your I/O requirements, one can build up a complete automation and control system," says Systematic Designs' MD, Sean van der Walt.
The range of motion controllers available from Tew in PMC and Industry Pack form factors include:
* TPMC118 - PMC 6 channel motion controller.
* TIP102 - motion controller with incremental encoder feedback.
* TIP111 - motion controller with absolute encoder (SSI) feedback.
* TIP114 - 10 channel absolute encoder (SSI) feedback interface.
* TIP120 - motion controller with on-board close-loop-controller.
* TIP150 - 1 or 2 channel synchro/resolver to digital converter.
