Murrelektronik now offers a new range of cable entry plates, which simplify the sometimes tedious job of wiring cables into a machine or control panel. The system named KDL, is a combination of a cable clamp and panel plate.
The system provides optimum strain relief for the cables as well as a safe seal for panels (IP54). A special self-adhesive gasket is supplied with each plate.
The plate consists of an upper and lower clamp which slot together, and a choice of various diameter grommets. The whole plate and grommets can be easily fitted, even when the cables are prewired. This is achieved with cleverly designed split grommets. Blind plugs can be fitted, if all the holes are not required.
The plates also have integrated labels, making cable identification simple. The system allows for all cables between 3 and 30 mm ∆.
