The three-way Globe Control valve body from PSV Mitech features three ports making it suitable for blending, mixing and diverting applications. The in-line globe and angle control valve bodies are combined with an adaptor that fits between the body and bonnet, making this three-way feature possible. Connections can either be hub, end or integral, with the maximum pressure rating dependent on the chosen body style, size or end connection.
For blending and mixing applications, two ports are used as inlets and one as an outlet. This configuration is used for applications where two fluids need to be mixed. The end result can range from temperature control to producing a new fluid.
During diverting applications, one port is the inlet and the other two are outlets. This configuration is ideal for level control and pump by-pass control valves.
