A full range of polyurethane sheathed heavy duty coiled extendable cables, suitable for a wide range of applications, is now available ex-stock from Jaycor International.
The J24P series coiled polyurethane cable has outstanding properties of retraction/extension, with each metre of retracted cable extending comfortably to 5 m, thus offering excellent reach in its extended form as well as eliminating the possibility of cable breakages or damages in its retracted form.
The cable construction offers further features with the conductors having multistrand plain or finely stranded tinned copper wires. The insulation is manufactured from high quality EPM rubber, which provides good flexing properties (even at low temperatures), adequate mechanical properties and good electrical properties. The polyurethane sheath offers robust mechanical and chemical properties and is resistant to abrasion. Resistant to ozone, good oil, water and with weather-resisting properties, the cable is also highly UV resistant.
Rated at 300/500 V, it is available in a wide range of conductor sizes from 0,75 to 6,0 mm2 and in core combinations of two to 12 cores.
Applications are varied and include heavy duty interconnections of trucks and trailers, heavy duty mining machinery, standby and emergency power units, assembly lines and many types of plant maintenance.
