Eckardt has introduced its ‘Premium Diagnostics’ tier for the SRD991 and SRD960 intelligent positioners. Premium Diagnostics is available for SRD Series independent of the protocol of communication (for HART, Foundation Fieldbus H1 and Profibus PA).
The Premium Diagnostics associated DTM for the Eckardt positioners (SRD991 and SRD960) provide a clear and intuitive graphical user interface that is simple to use and facilitates the rapid evaluation of the health status of valves. Position and Response Histogram as well as a complete range of offline diagnostics (stepping, ramping, sensitivity and valve signature) can be easily visualised into any FDT frame (laptop or into DCS). Moreover an innovative online friction calculation and representation improve the valve diagnostic and elevate the client’s ability to detect and prevent unforeseen outages in their process bringing significant cost savings.
