The Sendix H100 is an extremely rugged family of incremental encoders, available in three different versions – as encoders with or without speed switch or as dual encoders. The special HD-Safety-Lock construction ensures that high bearing load capacities up to 300 N axial and 400 N radial can be achieved. This helps prevent premature damage as well as avoiding failure in the field, it is thus ideally suited for heavy industrial usage, such as in steel works or in cranes.
Functionality is also impressive. An innovative plug-in spring terminal connector enables simple fast con-nection of the cable and means that the encoder and electrical installation can be carried out separately. This not only simplifies installation in the field, but also allows easy replacement of the encoder for servicing. No tools are needed when connecting the cable to the spring terminal and various connection options are available thanks to the terminal box that can pivot through 180°. This offers advantages where space is tight and eliminates any kinks in the cable. Units are available in a wide variety of resolutions and switching speeds.
