New to Instrotech’s range of top quality Vishay Revere load cells is the ACB low-profile, single-ended beam type. This load cell has all the advantages associated with high performance units – stainless steel construction, hermetically sealed, IP66 and IP68, and high accuracy – yet is priced at approximately half the cost of comparable models.
For weighing capacities of 500–5000 kg, the Model ACB is suitable for small and medium platform scales, hybrid scales, pallet weighers and process weighing. An integral mounting step eliminates the need for spacer plates and ensures optimum bolt-down.
These units are of a fully-welded construction ensuring ultra-reliable operation in harsh environments found in food, chemical and allied process industries. They are certified to OIML R60, 6000d2 in classes C3 up to C6. An IS version is available for use in potentially explosive atmospheres caused by gas or dust.
The rated output and the output resistance are balanced in such a way that the output current is calibrated to within 0,05% of a reference value. This allows easy parallel connection of multiple load cells.
