Advantech's IPPC-950 is a slim 100 mm flat panel PC incorporating all the features of a powerful computer in a rugged stainless steel chassis. It has a 375 mm LCD touchscreen, multimedia networking, modular design and expansion capabilities. It also serves as an ideal MMI solution for all PC-based control systems.
The IPPC-950 accepts processors up to Pentium MMX 233 MHz. It also accommodates one 2,5” hard disk drive up to 128 MB SDRAM, one side-mounted floppy disk drive and one CD-ROM.
The aluminium front panel meets NEMA4/12 and IP65 industrial standards. Strengthened glass protects the LCD from damage and major components can be replaced in a few simple steps. Two cooling fans in the top cover ensure reliable system operation.
An additional slot inside the IPPC-950 accepts one PCI/ISA expansion card. Two universal serial bus (USB) connectors ensure easy upgrading and four COM ports provide connections to various external peripherals.
