Schneider Electric has announced Schneider Secure Power Systems for Industry and Infrastructure Business, a new global business designed to continue its initiatives for large facilities with solutions that increase power availability and systems uptime of mission critical applications.
Schneider Secure Power Systems will offer a comprehensive range of hardware and services to a wide range of industries, as well as direct development of new technology and services to meet evolving customer demands. The Secure Power Systems for Industry and Infrastructure will offer Schneider Electric customers across multiple mission critical applications assistance to meet energy management and efficiency goals.
Schneider Electric has a history as a provider of secure power services to the IT sector and is expanding its products and services for industries and facilities beyond data centres. In particular, organisations in healthcare, semi-conductor fabrication, transportation, water and energy all rely heavily on uninterrupted power for processes such as security systems and automated manufacturing.
“By applying our heritage of innovation and quality to create secure power solutions specific to end-user sectors and applications, we expand our ability to unleash the true potential of our customers’ high-performance, high-efficiency processes,” says Laurent Vernerey, executive vice president IT business.
Schneider Secure Power Systems will apply technologies from Schneider Electric’s APC and Gutor brands to provide secure power components for a range of industrial applications. In addition, the group will expand its power services to operate and maintain installed solutions.
