Coiled cable for moving machinery

Jaycor’s J24P range of polyurethane (PUR) coiled extendable cable is ideal for highly strenuous applications, such as complex packaging machines, where parts move and the cabling must be able to move with it. Continuous motion is a constant factor and the machines are engineered to last while performing physically demanding functions.

Specially designed with rubber insulated conductors, and compression sheathed with a high-flex, robust PUR compound, the cables, once coiled, maintain their shape and memory when extending and retracting. This is an improvement over a PVC sheath, which over time loses its shape, eventually resulting in the insulation and sheath tearing, causing the cable to fail.

J24P coiled cables come in a variety of different conductor sizes from 0,75- 6 mm² with relaxed coiled lengths from 0,8-1,5 m, and extending from 4-6 m. In certain special circumstances two or three coiled cables can be joined together to reach distances of 10-20 m.
