The Revere Model SHBxR is an hermetically sealed stainless steel bending beam type load cell from Vishay Precision Group and available locally from Instrotech. The unit is particularly suitable for low capacity platform scales, packaging machines, hybrid scales and process weighing applications.
Suited for capacities of 5 to 350 kg, the load cells are of a fully-welded construction and water block cable entry ensures that they can be reliably used in the tough environments found in food, chemicals and process industries with protection to IP66 and IP68. ATEX approved in South Africa, an Ex version can be supplied for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
