Efector valvis goes AS-i

May 2011 Valves, Actuators & Pump Control

The new efector valvis from ifm electronics has been designed for feedback positioning on single, double seat and diaphragm valves up to a stroke of 80 mm. The optional adapters allow installation of the sensor to the most common valve types.

In addition to the binary 24 VDC version, the output signals can now be transferred directly via the AS-i bus using an integrated AS-i chip. Up to 31 sensors can be connected to one master. AS-i power and communication errors are indicated by LEDs on the unit.

This version of efector valvis has a resolution of 0,2 mm and freely programmable valve positions that include open, closed and seat lift.
