Based on the proven diaphragm pump model series 410.2, sera now also offers multilayer diaphragm pumps with the proven integrated sera control electronics. For operating pressures in the range up to 16 bar, sera can now offer solutions for performance ranges between 70 l/h and 1200 l/h.
The scope of applications for the multilayer diaphragm pumps ranges from the disinfection of drinking and service water to the chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industry (eg, for the dosing of additives).
These pump types are designed to prevent any contact between pump mechanism and medium in the event of malfunction, preventing corrosion inside the pump or contamination of the delivery medium from occurring. This reduces life cycle costs (LCC) and safeguards the process.
Exact control in all pressure ranges
The series contains already proven sera control electronics, a new approach for dosing pumps for medium pressure ranges. The control electronics permit, amongst other things, the monitoring of tank levels, checking of the condition of the diaphragm, flow monitoring or measurement as well as the adaptation of the stroke velocity with high-viscosity delivery media.
In addition, the series is suitable for selections via conventional analogue and digital signals. The ‘sera Plug & Dose’ principle facilitates cost-efficient and smooth utilisation in automatic processes and can therefore be integrated into nearly all existing systems.
