Flameproof enclosures

March 2011 IS & Ex

Bartec is now able to supply a comprehensive range of flameproof (Exd) enclosures for gas group IIB+H2. This range is suitable for DOL starters, isolators and a wide variety of customer specific applications in onshore and offshore environments. It is also in the process of extending this range into gas group IIC, by making use of GUB enclosures in both aluminium and stainless steel. These new enclosures are ideal for both the surface and underground mining market.
