Dywer Instruments has added to its comprehensive range of pressure instruments by releasing the 3100 Series Smart explosion proof pressure and differential pressure transmitters. The 3100 is a microprocessor-based high performance transmitter series equipped with flexible pressure calibration, pushbutton configuration and programmable via HART communication. The range is capable of being configured for differential pressure or level applications with the zero and span buttons (accessible without opening the enclosure).
The transmitter software compensates for thermal effects, improving performance. Configuration and sensor correction coefficients are safeguarded in EEPROM in the event of shutdowns or power loss. The series is approved for use in hazardous locations Class 1 Div 1.
The transmitter can be configured for a variety of applications including: flow measurement, level monitoring and filter/pump differential pressure. A range of accessories from Dwyer is available to suit most installation requirements for both differential and single pressure measurement applications.
