Rockwell Automation has announced the launch of additions to the Allen-Bradley 440P limit switch family. The new additions to the product family are rugged metal-bodied models in a compact 22 mm housing. The switches offer economical solutions in a variety of applications, including material handling, packaging, elevators, escalators, scissor lifts, industrial trucks and tractors, cranes and hoists, overhead doors and general safety guarding.
The expansion of the range consists of 14 new part numbers with a broad selection of operator types, including dome, roller and cross roller plunger, as well as short lever. All styles, except the level model, are available with panel mount threading. Two cable configurations are offered to optimise fit in tight spaces. The 440P limit switch family now comprises four different body styles – 30 mm metal, 22 mm metal, 22 mm plastic and 15 mm plastic.
