Corrosion resistance is important wherever aggressive substances are used. The moulded cables with plastic knurl are now available from Phoenix Contact as an alternative to sensor cables with stainless steel gland.
The union nuts are manufactured out of fibreglass-reinforced polyamide and are suitable for contact with aggressive media. The plastic versions are available moulded at both ends or with open cable ends that can be connected as required. In conjunction with the flush-type plug connectors manufactured out of plastic, Phoenix Contact now offers a complete range of products as an alternative to the stainless steel versions. All offer an IP67 degree of protection.
