Meter Systems has introduced the Proflow positive displacement PBM40-CX and PBM50-CX flowmeter for bulk LPG delivery and motor fuel dispensing. The metering systems are of precise volumetric positive displacement design with minimum intrusion to the liquid flow with no metal to metal contact in the measuring chamber to ensure instrument accuracy is sustained over extended periods to custody transfer standards.
The entire assembly is rated Class 1 Division 1 (explosion proof) for LPG dispenser and vehicle applications. The meters feature aluminium body construction with integral strainer/vapour eliminator, differential pressure valve (optional back check valve) with the volumetric display provided in mechanical or electronic format. The system is designed to provide safe and efficient operation for fixed or mobile applications, for single or dual hose delivery. The compact and light-weight construction maximises payload and provides ease of installation onto tanker vehicle or mobile metering trolley.
The PBM expands Meter Systems’ existing range of gas measurement instruments of Hoffer Turbine meters custody transfer of cryogenic gases and includes LPG dispensing to weights and measures accuracy. All metering and fluid transfer systems are supported by trained Meter Systems technicians who calibrate and repair equipment in the field and provide preventive maintenance service. This includes safety checks to keep equipment within the required standards.
