Spirax Sarco’s Pivotrol PTF4 high capacity pressure powered condensate pump is capable of pumping up to 18 000 kg/hr in rapidly cycling process environments and under elevated pressure and temperature conditions. Primarily, the Pivotrol is designed to avoid the high maintenance and energy consumption often found in large condensate pump applications in commercial and industrial facilities.
A patented pressure balancing body ensures both mechanisms share the pumping load equally. Patented vent assist valves release pressure in the pump body during the exhaust stroke for faster filling and cycling plus higher overall capacity. The PTF4 is about 2/3 the size of the unit it replaces, with nearly equal capacity through its 100 mm inlet and outlet check valves.
Incorporating dual Pivotrol pumping mechanisms with PowerPivot technology, the PTF4 is backed by a three million cycles or three year warranty. Five million cycles or a five year extended warranty is available as an option. Integral electronic cycle counters monitor the pump’s performance and confirm warranty coverage. Servicing is easy and reliability markedly improved. As a result of innovative technology, backed by four patents, the pump offers higher performance in a smaller package than the conventional technology it replaces.
