Ultrasonic level transmitter for hazardous applications.
Dwyer Instruments has introduced a new state-of-the-art ultrasonic level transmitter based on sensing technology that provides reliable, accurate, non-contact measurement of liquid levels. Long lasting non-contact ultrasonic technology has no wearing parts and nothing to clog or jam. The ULT is designed for corrosive slurries and fluids with solids.
The unit is rated explosion-proof making it ideal for use in petrochemicals and other hazardous compound applications. Easy to install and use, mapping software limits the effective measuring diameter to a 75 mm diameter column, eliminating the usual concerns with ladders, pipes, and other tank intrusions in the sound cone. It features a large LCD display with 4 button programming using a simple menu structure. Failsafe output options and diagnostic capabilities make the ULT a good choice for critical applications.
