Valves, Actuators & Pump Control

Teriskano adds KDV technology

August 2010 Valves, Actuators & Pump Control

Teriskano Engineering Solutions has announced another addition to its world-class product range with the inclusion of the range of diaphragm valves from KDV. Teriskano says KDV will form an integral part of its product profile that already includes world-class technology from Valtek Sulamericana and Everlasting Valves.

KDV already has a large installed base in South Africa and has recently completed a successful trial on SPL slurries, where it says many other valves of similar design failed within eight days. The test was conducted over six months under the harshest of conditions and the advanced KDV technology passed comfortably. History of KDV

Established in Australia in 1979, KDV specialises in the manufacture and distribution of a wide range of industrial valves. The core product is the range of Kim diaphragm valves, now marketed internationally under the KDV brand. The business has expanded over the years and now includes a wide range of both manual and automated diaphragm valves, incorporating the features demanded by engineers from a wide range of industries including water treatment, mining and mineral processing, chemical petrochemical and the food and beverage industries.

The success of KDV over the years has been primarily built upon product quality, prompt availability and the experience of the KDV team in supporting distributors, consultants, designers and end users. An international network of dedicated KDV flow control specialists ensure that the correct product is selected and where necessary, tailored to suit the application. With the versatility of the KDV diaphragm valve as a cornerstone the organisation has become a major supplier to many industries – for both major projects and for ongoing maintenance supply contracts. Interchangeability of components with other recognised products has provided steady growth in the supply assembled valves and spares. A documented quality assurance system in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 underpins the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction.
