The Keller series 46X capacitive transmitter for water level measurements combines the ceramic measuring cell for low pressure ranges with the μP-electronics of the digital Keller series 30 pressure transmitters. Measuring in the range from 30–100 mbar, the signal values of the pressure and temperature sensors are determined by polynomial compensation. The values can be shown and stored on a PC and can be reprogrammed. A tube integrated in the cable connects the reference chamber of the sensor to ambient.
The output signal is 4–20 mA or 0–10 VDC and the transmitters operate from 0–80°C with temperature compensation in the range 10–50°C. The housing is stainless steel with a 5 m cable supplied as standard. Intrinsically safe versions are also available for use in explosive areas where categories 1 and 2 are required.
