Jaycor International now stocks a comprehensive range of the LEMO 'B' and various other LEMO connectors locally in South Africa. The company says that until now access to LEMO connectors has been subject to long delivery times. But this is no more.
A broad range of the LEMO 'B' series connectors are kept in different shell sizes including 0B, 1B and 2B. Insert configurations from 2–26 pins for both male (FGG) cable mount and female (PHG) cable mount and panel mount (EEG) shell styles are available with a large variety of cable collets to suit different cable diameters.
The 'B' Series is stocked in component parts, thus if the correct insert with the number of pins required is not in stock, it can fly in the correct insert in 1–2 weeks and assemble the connector from parts, instead of having to wait much longer for a complete connector to be manufactured in Switzerland.
A range of 0,14 square millimetre multicore cables both screened (LiYCY) and unscreened (LiYY) complement the small pins of the LEMO 'B' Series to offer complete connection solutions. Jaycor has a cable assembly division that can fit the LEMO connectors to these special cables according to customer requirements. The company stocks many other LEMO Series connectors like the 'K, S, E, 00' and can obtain connectors not stocked in South Africa in 3–4 weeks depending on availability.
