Mitech's new generation globe control valve is a general-purpose design that can be engineered to solve both complex and basic requirements. Locally designed and manufactured, they are suitable for high-pressure applications and for use in extreme temperature conditions. The globe control valves are robust in construction, are easy to maintain while their modular design makes them simple to specify, reducing spares inventory requirements.
The valve's body is available in a choice of materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, tin bronze, chrome moly as well as exotic alloys. Four basic versions are offered including the Globe, 3-way, Angle and Sweep Angle. Pressure ratings meet ANSI Class 150 300, 600, 900 1 500 and 2 500 and DIN ND 16,40, 64, 100, 250 and 400.
The valves are available in sizes from 12 to 400 mm with Cv values from 0,05 to 2900. Actuators are available in double acting cylinder, spring return and heavy-duty spring types. Both piston and cylinder are constructed from anodised aluminium and they have nitrile or viton 'O' rings. The actuator's maximum pressure is 1000 kPa.
Conventional positioners are available as either pneumatic or electro-pneumatic with an air-to-open, air-to-close field reversible action. A Smart version is now available.
Various trims, gaskets and guides are offered in a variety of materials. Bonnets are offered in standard, hot extension, cryogenic extension or bellows seal types manufactured in the same material as the body.
