Vepac Electronics has reported that the Kappa series of plug-in monitoring relays, manufactured by Tele Haase, are available to the South African market. An extension of the manufacturer’s Vox series, the series boast a newly developed housing front and promise optimised utilisation of the new dimensions.
Recessed knobs prevent accidental adjustment and replace the previously employed setting elements. In conjunction with the LEDs protected against electrostatic discharge (ESD), they promise to deliver high reliability and simple operation.
An 11-pole plug-in socket is especially useful where units need to be replaced while they are still live, or where unskilled personnel are required to replace units.
The range of products includes current, voltage and power sensor monitoring for use in single and three-phase networks eg, the K3YM400VSY20 model can be used for monitoring the clockwise direction of rotation, monitoring mains symmetry, under voltage and voltage-window monitoring.
