Beckhoff presented its PC – and EtherCAT – based automation solutions for the window production industry at FensterbauFrontale 2010, one of the leading trade shows for windows, doors and façades, in Nuremberg. With PC Control Beckhoff offers a versatile and integrated control platform for automating the whole process chain of window, door and façade production, ranging from profile cutting to stacking of the finished elements.
Beckhoff has been supplying control equipment to the window production industry for almost 30 years and has extensive expertise covering the whole window production process. PC-based control technology can be used to control and monitor all processing steps including profile cutting, cut optimisation, bar processing (drilling, milling, screwing etc), welding and trimming, seal insertion, installation of fittings in frames or casements, and stacking.
