Lapp Kabel South Africa has introduced OLFLEX POWER CLASS 1 DIV 1. This oil resistant, flexible power and control cable with exposed run approval is also UL/CSA STOW hard service cordage rated. It is a very flexible and highly crush resistant cable that complies with the NEC Hazardous Area Standard for flexible cables for use in Class 1, Division 1 locations.
The cordage also conforms to RoHS requirements and is one of the only TC cables with a wet rating approval and RoHS. It is also UV resistant and approved for direct burial. Due to higher stranding, precision extruded jacket, worldwide approvals, and Lapp’s renowned quality, OLFLEX POWER CLASS 1 DIV 1 is a superior alternative to stationary TC and power cables. These advantages make installations much easier and quicker, and ensure the cable will hold up to your industrial requirements. The cables are designed for use in all electrical equipment in dry, damp, and wet conditions.
The Lapp Group offers a complete one-stop automation solution for cable and connector needs. Lapp has a broad range of products, including OLFLEX, UNITRONIC, and SILFLEX flexible and continuous-flex cables, SILVYN cable track and accessories, EPIC rectangular, circular, and pin and sleeve connectors, SKINTOP strain relief cable glands, FLEXIMARK cable marking systems, remote access ports, and custom harness assemblies.
