The new EBI 200 from ebro is perfect for monitoring and logging transport and storage temperatures of vaccines, medicine, blood and blood plasma as well as pharmaceuticals or chilled, frozen or deep-frozen food. This compact electronic temperature indicator, available from Instrotech, provides reliable proof that the cold chain has been effectively maintained. If temperature limits are violated, the EBI 200 records the exact date, time and duration of the violation.
The indicator is factory-programmed to the user’s specified temperature and time parameters. Each device can monitor two high and two low temperature limits with preset measuring intervals. The temperature status of the consignment is immediately indicated on the easy-to-read LCD display: either ‘OK’ all preset temperatures have been observed or ‘NOT OK’ a limit violation has occurred. Once activated, the EBI 200 has a battery life of up to two years and is re-used by resetting factory defaults using a password.
EBI 200 has a temperature range from –35 to 60°C, weighs 16 g and is supplied in a compact 40 x 60 x 7 mm housing.
