Quickon-Power-Distribution from Phoenix Contact is an installation technology with IP68 protection that is a perfect fit for industrial applications. By eliminating the need to pre-handle the conductors, installation time can be reduced by up to 80%. The four-position, IDC fast connection technology is specified for 690 V and 20 A, and can accept conductors from 1,0 to 2,5 mm². The option of fixed and plug-in Quickon connections, in conjunction with the fast and reliable installation on site, offers cost-saving potential.
Quickon H distributors, protected from finger contact, are compact and rugged terminal boxes that can be quickly connected up. The four Quickon connections are internally connected with one another. The housing is manufactured out of solid glass-fibre reinforced polyamide. The H distributor can be used with a continuous main distribution cable, with one or two cable feeders or also as a star distributor with one input and three outputs.
