Complicated and expensive customised solutions have sometimes been necessary to measure temperature distribution in technical processes. WIKA’s TC93 coaxial multipoint thermocouple offering represents a flexible and inexpensive alternative.
This new development provides five measuring points in the space of a standard thermometer, without requiring any auxiliary construction. In addition to the straightforward design that uses standard components available from stock, the TC93 also offers better comparability of the measuring points and improved accuracy.
Its makers believe that the instrument’s defined sensor heat transfer characteristics, low cross-sensitivity, and quick delivery times make it a particularly desirable solution. The cost saving potential becomes especially evident when large housings are not needed, as the standard connection head can be used to connect up to five measuring points.
