The efector gwr level sensor from ifm electronic uses guided wave radar technology to reliably detect level in small tanks, providing innovative measurement technology at a competitive price. Only one sensor is required to provide reliable level detection in tank applications, since the probe ignores metal deposits, build-up and foam.
The probe is directly installed in the tank and can be cut to length; electrical connection is made via the M12 connector. The sensor’s four-digit alphanumeric LED display establishes two programmable switch points with hysteresis and window display.
The efector gwr is suitable for continuous level monitoring in hydrous media such as coolants and cleaning liquids and is supplied in variants with two or four switching outputs or with analogue output 4–20 mA/0–10 V.
The sensor is not subject to any mechanical wear, which ensures high plant uptime and process safety; it is suitable for use in a medium temperature up to 80°C.
