TLC Software has designed a computer-based engineering solution program for airline fleets for testing air starters. The program captures data via RS232 serial communications with an Eskom TRI 5000 Datalogger connected to the testing instrumentation. The secured data is written to a Microsoft Excel file, which contains macros that perform final analyses on the data. A database stores instrumentation data and specifications, as well as test engineer details.
Features include a simple user-interface with wizards guiding the testers wherever possible. The wizards ensure that all required data is collected prior to a test. The calibration interface is initiative and allows for quick and accurate calibration. Furthermore, passwords allow supervisors to protect database content and calibration settings.
