Custom-assembly M12 plug connectors with screw terminal connection have been added to Phoenix Contact’s range of products using Speedcon quick connection technology. Depending on the design, cable diameters of 4 to 8 mm are supported. The greatest possible cable cross-section for rigid and flexible cables is 0,75 mm².
Connectors and sockets are available in straight and angled versions. After the cables have been assembled, it only takes a half turn to make the electrical connections with the M12 plug connector system, reducing connection time by approximately 90%.
Speedcon plug connectors fulfil the requirements for electrical and mechanical properties of classical M12 plug connector systems and are fully downward compatible.
