Schneider Electric has introduced the new range of Harmony spring clamp contacts and light modules in response to demand from OEMs and machine builders for the following:
* Efficiency and reduction in installation time.
* Secure connectivity eliminating the need for maintenance.
* Visible confirmation that the connection is secure.
* Excellent vibration resistance.
The company has expanded the range of operator dialogue and connection methods for the 22 mm XB4 and XB5 pushbuttons. Operation is simple and intuitive and a strong snap lever provides visual confirmation of a secure connection. Since the contact blocks and light modules require no special tools for wiring, installation time is reduced by more than half. Since the modules maintain their clamping force despite the effects of vibration, temperature cycling and settling of strands, the need for checking and maintenance is virtually eliminated.
All the Harmony spring clamp and light modules solutions conform to CE marking and IEC/EN standards, and are manufactured in conformity with the requirements of the RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) European directive.
