After developing new antenna concepts, Krohne has introduced a number of new level measurement products. The OPTIFLEX 1300 C is based on TDR technology (guided microwaves) and was especially designed for high temperatures (up to 300°C) and high pressure applications (up to 300 bar). These process conditions can be found in the petrochemical industry among others.
The innovative HT/HP sealing system ensures a reliable gas-proof separation throughout the entire operating range. One of the OPTIFLEX 1300C’s special features is its extraordinarily compact design. In addition, the measuring device features a large touch-screen used to easily start up and operate the measuring device with just four keys.
For applications in the bulk goods industry, Krohne has developed a reliable solution for measuring supplies of powders and bulk goods. The FMCW OPTIWAVE 6300C radar measuring device is based on more than 20 years of experience and has a special antenna which can even detect the uneven surfaces in silos.
The drop antenna with its ellipsoidal shape features an outstanding directional receiving pattern (2° angle of reflected beam) and is unaffected by dust or deposits. Thanks to a wide selection of materials, antenna sizes and materials, there is always the right measuring device for a wide range of bulk goods and ambient conditions.
