MadgeTech’s new HiTemp150FP is a small, rugged, re-usable temperature data-logger specifically designed for deployment in harsh environments. The HiTemp150FP comes standard with a flexible silicone rubber-enclosed cable, a penetration style stainless steel probe, and a 316 stainless steel body. With a measurement range of -40°C to +150°C, the HiTemp150FP is ideal for use in autoclaves, medical and pharmaceutical labs, food preparation and processing plants, dishwashers, and other applications involving extreme temperatures.
The units can be supplied with N.I.S.T. calibration certificates on request
The unit features an RTD temperature sensor, which allows for extremely fast response times and highly accurate readings. Reading rates are configurable from once every two seconds to once every 12 hours. A reading limit of 32 767 data entries enables usage in the longest of processes. An integral realtime clock ensures that all data is time and date stamped, making it easy to track and analyse temperature changes. The logger can be set for an immediate start or for delayed activation, allowing for overlappng data recording via the deployment of multiple loggers. Its non-volatile solid state memory keeps written data intact even if the replaceable battery becomes discharged.
The device is supported by powerful and easy to use software. MadgeTech’s Windows-based program feature a variety of tools that allow the creation and exportation of professionally formatted spreadsheets and customised graphs. Complex analyses, such as mean kinetic temperature and sterilisation units can be performed at the click of a mouse.
In addition to the analysis of data, MadgeTech’s software is used for the digital calibration of the HiTemp150FP. Thanks to the software’s easy calibration wizard, this task requires no special skills from the user.
