Phoenix Contact’s new addition to its Inline product family – the eight-channel IB IL Temp 4/8 RTD/EF-PAC analog input module – measures the standard signals of temperature sensors precisely while saving both space and money. The module supports sensor connections in four-wire technology with a width of only 6,1 mm per channel.
The high-precision temperature measurement module has eight analog RTD inputs
Measurement values are recorded using 16-bit (2x 4-channel multiplex) values. RTD resistance sensors such as Pt100, Pt1000, Ni100, and Ni1000 can be read. Each channel can be configured differently. A diagnostic indicator for each channel indicates the correct operation of each sensor on the module.
The module’s EMC resistance is characterised by interference immunity in 50 Hz and 60 Hz environments. Internal measurement processing allows higher resolution and four labelling fields for each of two cables are also supplied with the module.
