Transmitters that have accurate humidity and temperature measurement over a wide working range, fitted in a small housing have been the goals for the development and improvement of E+E Elektronik's EE06 and EE08 Series.
The EE06 Series are compact transmitters for humidity and combined humidity and temperature measurement. These transmitters have been optimised for OEM applications such as humidifiers and dehumidifiers, climate control in buildings and monitoring of storage rooms. For relative humidity measurement the sensor is a HC101 with a working range of 0-100% RH. For temperature measurement (active output) they are made with a PT1000 sensor,
-40 to 60°C. The housings are IP65 rated and operation is from a nominal 12 V supply.
The EE08 Series have low power consumption and a short start-up time, which supports efficient energy management for battery operated systems. For this application an additional version (V10) with a supply voltage of 4,5-15 V d.c. has been developed. Calibration data and other relevant functions like linearisation or temperature compensation are stored in the probe. This feature, together with the optional connector, allows for easy replacement of the probe without a need for re-adjustment. The humidity and temperature measurement are available as analogue outputs or as a digital E2-interface. The high-precision transmitters find application in meteorology, humidity and temperature logging, incubators, fermentation chambers and dry storage facilities.

Temperature Measurement
For successful paint cure, irrespective of the paint chemistry being used, there is a critical need to measure and control the temperature of the car body as it travels through the oven. Today, paint ovens are controlled in a sophisticated fashion via thermocouples located in each zone to give constant feedback on the ambient temperature.

Temperature Measurement
During metal casting, the liquid material is poured into a mould, and after solidification becomes a solid body. Both too-high and too-low casting temperatures can lead to quality defects. The compact Optris PI 05M infrared thermal imaging camera from Instrotech can monitor the casting process.
