Lapp Cable South Africa has introduced new EtherLine Cables for continuous flex applications. The halogen free UNITRONIC brand of EtherLine FD P Cat.5 Plus cables are of fine stranded oil-resistant construction, developed to withstand the stresses associated with continuous flex applications.
The specially designed internal core wrap ensures proper cable performance during flex motion. The cable meets standard EIA/TIA-568, TSB-36 and ISO/IEC 11801 - Generic Cabling for Customer Premises for class D links. The range is available in 26 AWG with two or four pairs. The special foil for flexing and a tinned copper braid shield provide excellent noise protection and integrity during flexing. The cables can be provided as a plug-and-play assembly with either an RJ 45 or an M12 connector.
As part of the worldwide Lapp Group, Lapp Cable South Africa offers a one-stop automation solution for cable and connector needs. Synonymous with brands such as LFLEX, UNITRONIC and SILFLEX cables, SILVYN cable track and accessories, EPIC rectangular, circular, and pin and sleeve connectors, SKINTOP strain relief cable glands and FLEXIMARK cable marking systems, the company offers a broad based range of products. The service includes custom cable manufacture for special applications at the manufacturing facilities in Florham Park, NJ.
