After success with the present series ESCHA has introduced two new connectors designed for the food and beverage industries. The range has been supplemented by the addition of M12x1 and M8x1 round connectors. The current products are manufactured from PVC-free plastics as are the new additions. Polypropylene-based materials achieve the high media permanence required and eliminate the hardening and colour change of PVC.
The new standard is white and blue
The couplings comply with protection ratings IP67 and IP69K making them suitable for use in harsh industrial applications. The stainless steel VA4 coupling nut has been left unchanged and the application temperature range extends from -40 to +105°C. Food & Beverage Plus products are designed for purification applications with the new plastics protecting against the acid and alkaline detergents used in high pressure cleaners.
Straight or angled versions are available in choices of 3 or 4 pole male/female connectors designed for conduit lengths from 5 to 50 m.
