Schneider Electric launches new South African website

January 2008 News

In the ongoing quest to keep improving products and services the Schneider Electric website has been redesigned to meet the ever increasing need for sophistication. Clients, distributors and stakeholders can now look forward to an even better user experience.

Marketing director Herman Walsh says, "The site was designed in accordance with all the Schneider Global standards. It provides a dynamic information platform with a visually stimulating and vibrant look."

The clear structure, simplified navigation, improved search functions and blogs are some of the features that make locating information and resources considerably easier and faster than before. The website also encompasses other Schneider brands and companies such as: APC MGE, Clipsal, Conlog, Nu-LEC, TAC and Hoist-Tec.

The website will also create a database of Schneider Electric's on-line market allowing maximisation of the on-line medium as a tool through the use of blogs, feedback forms, on-line discussions, course bookings and a multimedia library, explained Carlo Romao, the communications manager at Schneider Electric South Africa.
