The PresencePLUS Pro PROII family of vision sensors from Banner Engineering has an expanded toolset for advanced operations. All PROII controllers include a powerful suite of grey scale tools which include locate, pattern find and count, geometric find and count, edge, object, blob, average grey scale and optional bar code reader. Colour models include the colour match tool for accurately detecting colour variations.
The PresencePLUS Pro PROII family of vision sensors can be applied to packaging and material handling tasks
The Pro features a DIN-mountable controller with a compact camera. Standard grey scale cameras are available for accurate analysis at high speeds and the 1,3 megapixel high resolution models feature 1280 x 1024 resolution for extra detail or extended sensing field of view. Colour cameras offer a 752 x 480 resolution for detecting a specific colour and unlimited colour variations. Sealed IP68-rated cameras are available for challenging industrial and washdown environments.
This vision system can be applied to packaging and material handling tasks such as pharmaceutical vial cap and package inspection, full case detection and cap colour inspection on packaging lines, label verification and positioning in bottling applications and food packaging error proofing.
The Pro is easy to set up and operate. Multiple inspection routines can be stored and accessed without a PC. For system integration, Ethernet, serial and 14 discrete I/O points are included. The device supports EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP industrial network protocols. ActiveX utilities are available for exporting inspections, images and results.
This family of affordable vision sensors includes one- and two- piece, standard- and high-resolution, monochrome and colour, single- and multipurpose vision sensors. The intuitive interface means that even operators with only basic computer skills can easily set up an inspection.
Banner also offers lighting, lenses, brackets and other accessories for vision systems.
